Battle Grounds

Echo was walking beside Raynos as they entered the Battle Grounds. He made Raynos stay at the other side of the field and waited for Shinobi. He wanted to see if he had grown in his skill. He grinned, he liked to give people promotions.

[\S/ Shinobi]

::Enter::

Command Wolf trotted onto the large grassy area. He saw Raynos and Echo at the other side and broadcast over the com, "Okay, its showtime." He started up Command Wolf's generator and revved the engines. He locked onto Raynos, ready to fire his Cannon.


(Are we going to rp with damage or is it simply going to be a fun roleplay w/ no rules?)

[Olivia]

//Which ever you want, I don't care.\\

Echi nodded and entered Raynos. He returned the comm *Sounds good, now give me all you got!* He smirked, and charged up Raynos's cannon too. He also prepared Strike Laser Claw, and his fangs and tail began to glow. "Come on Raynos, lets still leave our record undefeated!" He locked onto his taget, and awaited Shinobi's next move.

//It'll just be a fun battle, then. Since we don't get prize money/exp.\\

Command Wolf started sprinting towards the Raynos. Shinobi had a plan.

[Olivia]

Echo nodded, and rose to the skies, and hid in the clouds. Soon a beam shot through the clouds and directly to The Command Wolf. As soon as the cannon was launched, Raynos flew behind Shinobi, and tried to attack. "Raynos, Strike Laser Claw, now!" Soon Raynos unleased it, but he was unsure if it hit.

[\S/ Shinobi]

Command Wolf side-stepped the cannon blast, but was temporarily knocked off balance. The Strike Laser Claw hit him squarely in the back and he crashed to the ground. Thats when he saw his chance. Echo had flew in closer to get a better look... right into Command Wolf's line of fire. Not bothering to get up, Shinobi fired his 120mm Cannon and a sustained burst of machine gun fire at the flying Zoid.

It had worked, but victory was far away. Soon a beam came at him, "Raynos! Envade, quickly!" The beam shot right past him to the right. He exhaled, but soon guns came shotting at him. He was hit, all of them. Raynos, fell out of the sky, and landed on the ground. It got up, and looked at the wolf. "Come on Raynos, lets use our new normal attack." Raynos soared towards the wolf, as his talons reached out and picked him up. Raynos flew high in the sky, and let go of the Command Wolf.

[\S/ Shinobi]

"Oh dam--" Shinobi started to say but was abruptly cut off as he, and Command Wolf, crashed into the ground. Again. This time from high-up. Fortunately, the crash-netting kept him from flying out of the cockpit. He ran a quick systems check and saw that nothing was damaged too badly. A lucky break. Command Wolf got up and started to look around for the Raynos, but it must have flown into the clouds. He didn't want to make himself an easy target so Command Wolf started sprinting in erratic patterns, making it hard to get a lock.

[Olivia]

Echo tried to target the wolf, but to no avail, it was moving to much! He soared closer to the ground, and talked on the comm. *Is your zoid ok?* He asked as he tried to catch up. Than, when he was close to him, he tried to swing his tail at the wolf.

[\S/ Shinobi]

"Better than yours is going to be." Shinobi laughed as he made Command Wolf roll under the attack. It jumped up again and leaped towards the low-flying Raynos, baring its fangs and whipping its tail around.

[Olivia]

Raaynos wsn't prepared for that, and scraped on the ground. "Dam!" Echo shouted as his zoid dragged on the ground. *So you want to play that way? Your in for it!* He smiled. "Ok Raynos, shake him off, and demolish him." Raynos shook the wolf off him, than faced him. *You shouldn't come close to me, im all about close range!* Soon Raynos was glowing. "NOW!" Soon three cannon bullets shot out of the cannon, even thought the dust was there, Raynos still charged in, and did three Strike Laser Attacks, and one normal attack. That was an impossible move to survive. Echo waited for the dust to clear, to see what happened.

[\S/ Shinobi]

Anticipating this, Shinobi flicked on his shield but it only stopped a portion of the attack. However, as the dust cleared Command Wolf was still operable. And his guns were pointed straight at Raynos. He unleashed a heavy barrage of Cannon fire, Machine Gun rounds and Melee attacks.

[Olivia]

Raynos growled when he still saw the Wolf standing. He turned on his sheild and blocked all of the damage, except for some that hit him before the shield went up. Echo smiled, *Good, I didn't kill you there. You're getting better than when I first met you. Well whenever you want to end this, unless you want one of our zoids to fall.* Raynos stood still, obeying Echo command of stop, and awaited Shinobi's response.

"I think thats enough practice, don't you? Good thing we both have shields." Shinobi laughed, "Lets head back to the HQ and rest up."

[Olivia]

Echo nodded. *Well, I have thought about promoting you to Gladiator, you have proved yourself in strengh and loyalty. So do you accept?* Echo said with a grin. Raynos leaned down and Echo exited the cockpit. He held out his hand to Shinobi, and hoped he would shake it and accept the offer.

[\S/ Shinobi]

"I'd never turn down a promotion." Shinobi laughed as he shook Echo's hand.

[Olivia]

Echo let out a short laugh before shaking Shinobi's hand. He smiled. "So promotion it is." He nodded and went back to Raynos, and entered the cockpit. He flew off, he was going out to explore a bit more.

Shinobi got back into Command Wolf and decided to go back to HQ and make some repairs and adjustments.
