Shannon begun his search in the closest land mark near the Town of Guygalos, which was the Valley of the Rare-Hertz. He had heard of what Hertz do to a zoid and its pilot so he activates his protective shield to protect him from the effects of the Hertz. "That guard gotta be here" he says to himself "This is the only place the Towns people wouldn't look. I'm sure of it." He then continues his search for the guard.

(plot twist  ) The Unenlagia is found without movement. Upon closer examination, the pilot is dead and the Unenlagia is now hostile. It attacks Shannon. "The heck?!? There it is." Not knowing of the dead pilot Shannon trys and send a transmition but no respond. He then notices that the Zoid looks as tho it is ready to strike "What is he doing? Ah I see plaining n fighting me to escape eh? Well Im not backing down."

Shannon then have Bio Raptor fire the Gatling Gun at the zoid to try and disable it for an easy mission.

The Unenlagia was hit, but was not going down without a fight. It ran towards the Bio Raptor and attempted to ram into it.

Bio Raptor was just nipped by the Unenlagia . "Bio Raptor lets end this match and take em home." He then bites at the zoid using Hyralic Teeth then rams it back.

Shannon then have Bio Raptor walks over to the disabled Zoid. He then activate the net to drag the zoid out of the Valley. When he exits out the valley he then leaves his cockpit to examine the disabled zoid. Only to find out that the pilot was dead. Shannon then questions himself if he killed the pilot but he check his body temp only to find out that he possibly couldnt have killed the pilot in battle. He had to have been dead for at least a few hours. But Shannon knew he couldnt just bring the dead pilot to the town so he gets the Badge of the guard to explain the story.
